This morning I wake up to find bird shit on my carpet. He gave me a tree with a damn partridge in it.

A single pear tree is a terrible gift, pear trees need to be pollinated. They take 3-4 YEARS to produce fruit. A partridge in a pear tree? It's a shitting lie.
