I cut a hangnail too deep and the top of the finger swelled up and is sore. I tried bloodletting but nothing came out, neither blood nor pus. Advice, fora?

It could be an infection, it could ve healing. Some injurues will get red and swollen while healing especially if you have another sickness or injury

Also start moisturizing your hands and cuticles
