Not missing, but one is very atrophied and deformed. It isn't hurting anything but isn't functional and is just kinda there. Doctors have asked me if I wanted to have it removed and have a prosthetic put in but since it isn't medically necessary it would be considered cosmetic surgery and I'd have to pay for it out of pocket, which was one factor in deciding not to do it.

It's not very nice. It's a tragic story really. But long story aside, it definitely changed life for her in ways she didn't imagine.

Sorry, I'm not sure how comfortable I am with actually showing my balls but I can try to describe them. About 50% of the time, depending on how I'm positioned and I guess how social the little guy is feeling, you can't even see it and that side of the scrotum just looks empty. The other 50% of the time you can see a vaguely testicle shaped mass that is around a quarter or maybe a third the size of the other one, near the top of the scrotum because it doesn't hang down as far as a healthy testicle would.

I was born with an undescended testicle but had surgery as a baby to lower it back down into the scrotum. At some point during early childhood it partially ascended again for reasons unknown. It happened when I was old enough to bathe myself so my parents didn't know, and when I was young enough to not know what balls are supposed to look like, so it went unnoticed for a very long time. Either being so high up for so many years caused it to atrophy from the additional body heat, or it was just always deformed, in which case whatever caused the deformity likely also caused it to not descend originally.

I've never been tested for that, but I have no reason to believe the other testicle doesn't function properly. If anything were to ever happen to the good one, then I would definitely not be able to.

Nah you're good lol. It's something I've only ever spoken about with a small number of people, so it's interesting for me to get to talk about it. Another thing you may find interesting is the scrotum scar from the surgery I had as a kid is still visible. It looks like a little patch of skin that is thinner and paler than the surrounding skin. One more visual oddity for my balls!
