get a table where your legs are slightly elevated above your head. Cover your face with some type if cloth. Have someone else pour water in small amounts on your face. One of those buckets with the spout that people use to water plants works really well. Also have them shove a rag in your mouth while pouring the water. It is more realistic if you are restrained and asked questions. Have them waterboard you then throw you in a cell with recordings playing that sound like a woman being raped or white noise for 24-48 hours. You cannot be allowed to sleep. Then let them waterboard you some more until you answer their questions.

The violence isn't so much awful as the act itself -- how a human being could do that to another person just makes me sick.

You can watch shock videos like Pain Olympics or One Guy One Jar or Goatse and you know they are either fake or self inflicted but this... this is a whole new level of sickfuckery. It's humanity at it's absolute worst and it takes my ability to reason animalistic and disturbing behavior beyond whatever threshold I can logically internalize. It's just one of those things we have to learn to live with, though.
