I'm curious what's available in different locations so...

This is all I do, a few times a week I DL movies and burn the good ones to DVD. I just get news and other info online.

In my mothers house, she had cable. I would occasionally watch the history channel and kept up with a few of her dumb drama series.
My dad really hates cable yet pays for cable anyways. We've gotten many crazy offers from Comcast like how they'll give us unlimited channels for a year and stuff like that. O.o

Netflix or amazon on demand for movies. Netflix and Hulu for tv shows.
I don't have cable TV (no desire to, either. If it were free and came with all the premium channels i might be interested.) all I want to watch is movies and shows on the premium channels.

I don't watch TV.
Occasionally I'll torrent a movie. I rarely download TV series and am not following any at present. Sometimes I'll pick up an anime series, but rarely.

Usually 20. There was a free trial of a hundred or so for about 6 months, dunno if that's still going.

I used to watch Free To Air at our old house with a Mesh Dish we had from the 80's, Now we use Directv.

If I can't find it on the television within a reasonable time, My internet is slow and capped.

I don't know why Pay TV in New Zealand is so shitty.
We get about 40 channels, of which about 10 are decent.

It's because yours is filtered down from ours (australian) which is in turn filtered down from America's. In theory, you get only the best channels.

I have rare access to two cable systems but frankly they both offer just about the same stuff. I get the two Satellite services for gratis as part of my work. Yet I end up keeping CNN on in the back ground during the day and on occasion download a movie and usually from Sundance or similar sites that offer stuff I would not download from Netflix. Just not much tyme to watch regular TV.
Did the Monk series but only around the tyme it was cancelled and caught up on all episodes. Tried it several tymes and hated it until a GF got me in2 the show. Did watch the on line MWC stuff and need to see if there are new episodes.
