I think with, like, leather I figure if the cows are already getting killed for meat why not get some shoes, belts, and wallets out of the deal?
I'm not much of a fur guy though, living in a humid subtropical climate I have no use for such things. I generally hate eating liver so foie gras would never be on my plate anyway.

I won't be getting anymore leather products, but I have a wallet, bag and jacket that are leather I bought before going vegetarian. Too much sentimental value in them for me to get rid of.
There's no need to do so at this point. We don't eat the meat of the animals we use the skin of, except snakes, gators, lambs, and cows, and the need for fur as a means of clothing is at an all time low, and always diminishing further. If we're going to use every bit of the animals, fine. If not, we aren't doing any good by skinning them.

I don't think cows are specifically killed for leather. So there should be no problem in buying leather goods since the cows were killed for meat anyway 🤔
