As I've talked about before, what you do is, you put your feet into these clamps that hold you up to your ankles while lying on the ground. Once activated, the flinger will rotate you around, picking up speed, and then electronically determine how fast and at what angle to release you so that you are flung over say, 100 distance units of your choice. You will gently land upon a catching bowl while gravity has slowed you down to near zero so you'll be fine.
