SETTLE DOWN, LADIES
Anyway, I'm trying to decide between Pat McGrath Motherships. I already got Moonlit Seduction, which is amazing. Honestly I may never try another eyeshadow again. But anyway, it's time to order more. Which would you choose? I'm leaning towards Huetopian Dream but can be convinced otherwise.

o really? I haven't tried any pat McGrath products. Idk what your colors are, I'm guessing like golden brown hair, or light―medium brown? Maybe green or blue eyes? I know ur a corn fed white girl. I mean, I'm guessing, but, c'mon, ur white. Possibly Jewish. White (non-hispanic). U know me, Dark red hair, green eyes, fair skin. I kinda stick to peachy, pinks, earthtones, plums and gold and avoid blue shades.
Huetopian dream for sure though. Good pick with the moonlit seduction. So, whats so great about pat McGrath eye shadow palettes? Do you just love the colors or what else is exceptional about them? I'm kinda into the divine rose and moonlit seduction, but I haven't looked at all of them yet. Sell me on pat McGrath :D

Pat McGrath is THE example for how different and worthwhile high-end makeup is. Everything from her brand that I've tried is just a cut above, even the mid-level brands you see on Sephora. I'm embarrassed to even own any Too Faced or Tarte eyeshadows at this point.
The Pat McGrath eyeliners do not move. All day, 15 hours or more, just stays right in place. You have to be careful applying it because once it's on it's stuck.
The eyeshadows are otherworldly. Buttery soft and buildable, and you can create just about any look without it ending up muddy looking. Even the super glittery shadows can be applied (lightly) to look professional, and they don't scratch or end up all over your face. But you can also build it up to be more dramatic.
Eyeshadow primer does make a big difference with Pat McGrath. There are some eyeshadow I don't use primer for (like Natasha Denona), but I think the PML does a lot better with something to grab onto. Would recommend Urban Decay primer, which every Sephora has.
Not sure the Sephora store will have PML eyeshadow (my local store doesn't, but it's not the full size store).
They probably do have Huda Beauty or Natasha Denona eyeshadow though, which can have similar effects and are very good quality.

i've been very skin care centric since starting HRT last year since it really impacts skin a lot early on, so this is all extremely valuable experience to hear about, tyvm becky.
oh, and hair has been my focal point.
i'll wash and cleanse my face, then serums, vitamin C and PH balancing toner, then moisturize, and use a LaRoche Posay flesh toned sunscreen and use lip balm.
and that's been my goto daily makeup. lol.
so my hair has to carry me the rest of the way. i'm trying to not damage it. trial and error does have me using mac primers especially since i mostly do mineral foundations.
i do really like the one cream eyeshadow i use, which is shimmery gold.
this is great @previous (cccuuunnttt !.cATkimmOo) ❤
