Currently my housemates have 2 adults female cats (one is 3 years, the other is older, but we dont really know how old). Also a year old male cat. The 3 year old female and male get along well. The two females go at each other like crazy, though.
Also, our male cat does not pee around the house. Just in the litter box. If we get anohter male, will they start peeing all over the place? My one housemate is concerned because thats what males typically do. We had another male living here who would do that, but he was a douche bag.

That's no guarantee there won't be trouble, but it's certainly a plus. If you can, try to introduce them to each other slowly and let them get used to the smell and presence of the other.
Another problem that can arise when introducing young cats, is that they tend to be playful. Older cats might not have the patience for the kind of attack and run games that younger cats will play.
