I did not fill the ice cube tray high enough, now I have half-size ice cubes. If I add more water on top of the existing frozen ice cubes, will that just create larger ice cubes, or will the water not connect with the frozen cubes and instead I will have two ice cubes? Thank you

they'll adhere but it'll look sloppy on toppy. I usually slightly underfill my ice trays to account for expansion but I have one that has a fill line.
