You can cook pasta in a food thermos/vacuum flask. I just put pasta (dried) in the food flask with boiling water from the kettle for 20 minutes and it's soft. Mugs won't cook pasta as they don't maintain heat. You do not need a stove, saucepan or any of that jazz to cook pasta. Just a food thermos. I'm a mother fucking genius. It will also cook gnocchi and tortellini/ravioli as I've done them in a mug.
