Oh, this is that misogynistic dude who's gone viral on TikTok and such recently. I read an article about him, and it notes that he's basically strong-armed the algorithms into promoting him by commanding his followers to artificially inflate his engagement as much as possible.
I mean, I don't doubt that he's legitimately popular or that disgruntled, sexist men aren't a sizeable demographic, but I'm hoping that the above means that his hype will eventually die down and that his algorithm manipulation won't work forever.

Buzzwords, "controversial" takes, and just a bunch of people platforming him on twitch for a while. Most algorithms don't have the ability to judge the content, just the reactions to said content as far as I know.
He did talk to my favorite socialist streamer on some other stream, it was dope

I toss your condescending lol right back at you. Of course content creators can manipulate these things, beyond just making content that people enjoy. Specifically telling your followers to go around spamming your vidoes is a good example of that.

My condescending lol is at whatever news outlet that's from.
I mean manipulating an algorithm would require knowledge of what the algorithm promotes, which nobody has. The algorithm is in the power position, not the creator (and definitely not the viewer)

Is observational learning not a thing humans can do? Like, people figure out the TikTok algorithm promotes lighter skin faces, the Facebook algorithm promotes content that gets clicks and reactions, ect
