Use a glucometer, measure your levels for a couple of days. If you see any bloodsugars outside of the typical normal range, between 70(before meals)-140(right after eating), consider seeing a physician.

I've been diabetic for 30 years, where as Anonymous B has been volunteer diabetic for only a few years, and he obviously doesn't do a very good job of controlling it based on how many medications he's on.
Only you can decide whose advice you will take.

Fasting would just be the time between meals in thus case, especially first thing in the morning.

Yeah, typically a doctor will have you fast 12 hours before any blood work.
Also, only clear liquids.

This is what I did, but maybe see a medical professional to make sure. I never take my own advice though.
