Topic: So the Jolly Green Giant is British

Dead !Pool..v42s started this discussion 3 years ago #105,739

Right? So then Paul Bunyan was an American giant, Goliath was an Anakite[sp?] giant, what other giants are there that are well known?

The Jolly Green Giant has been cancelled, I'm afraid. He said some very bad things on Twitter during the BLM stuff.

I was so shocked. He was a British icon when I was growing up, I can't believe he was like that...

"In the English language, the distinction between a cow and an ox comes down how each animal is used by humans"

I mean, they are built differently, and ground ox has a flavor closer to a mix between venison and beef sirloin.

http://www.differencebetween.net/science/nature/difference-between-ox-and-cow/

I get that there's differences, but they're also general terms that can be used to describe the same fucking animal. Stop being assholes.

Female bovines are referred as cows. A group of bovine is often called a heard of cattle or heard of cows. I didn't literally say "babe the big blue dairy cow" all I asked is if other giants had cows, using a generally accepted term for multiple bovines. You are the one who assumed I would call Babe "a big blue dairy cow" apparently, and I don't know why.

It just seems like I often get attacked on semantics whenever I post here, and it's fucking annoying.
