I love watching TikToks where American 20 somethings vacation in Europe and are shocked how shitty it is

The heat is outside, not inside.

Me too, I watched one earlier where these Americans couldn't believe how shitty Florence is because there's no McDonald's near the Church of Santa Croce where people like Michelangelo and Galileo are buried.

LMAO and they had to walk to it because the street parking was full and couldn't park their car immediately next to the McDonald's in downtown Florence

We'll probably have to start adapting to this, it will become the new normal.

Surprisingly you can actually buy portable air conditioners in the UK: https://www.argos.co.uk/browse/appliances/fans-heaters-and-dehumidifiers/air-conditioning/c:29440/

I'm sure they're all out of stock at the moment but I feel better knowing our friends across the pond can avail themselves of air conditioning.

It's not as good as central air obviously but in an emergency heat wave situation the family can pile into one room which can be air conditioned.
