I do sympathize, though. Standing up for yourself is never easy, especially when you're thirteen, you live in suburbia, and you've pretty much been pampered your whole life. Can you imagine everyone in your school constantly staring, talking about you, and taunting you everywhere you go. What a nightmare. At the same time though, leaving a school is not going to solve anything. She needs to learn to either verbally defend herself or just not give a fuck, but that's easier said than done I guess. Combust cannabis, disregard haters. On the other hand, becoming an hero is also always an option.

Honestly, I hate bullies, but the teasing described sounded kind of good natured. At least, it isn't cruel. It's not like she's coming into school to find her locker trashed and "fag" written on it.
I think she's thin skinned and daddy's little princess.

I agree that it could potentially be the most valuable act one could do for another, but more likely it would not be. Some people do change when they "find Jesus." or they change, then find Jesus as a result. Some people just need strength from somewhere. Well, we all do at times.
