We have such wonky laws. Yearly car inspections, which is a fucking scam. Liquor is still only sold by the state and beer needs to come from a distributor. Also, most of PA is fucking hickville if you go more than an hour from any city.

That's true to some extend. There are a lot of rural areas where I'm from, but most of them aren't full of hicks.

Most states safety inspections are years or just once (differs for emissions/safety).

The wine and spirits shops are state stores. In most the country you can buy alcohol in a grocery. It's the wonky kind of laws I was talking about.
