the backlight is turned all the way down, that's my preference. If I were in a completely dark room, I'd turn it up

Doesn't matter, it's playing full speed video and it looks fine in person. This is a task that a poster here claimed was 100% impossible! It's really quite amazing that we are witnessing the impossible
