Topic: Automation is going to be what kills Capitalism.

Anonymous A started this discussion 3 years ago #104,974

It's going to come to a point where the entire work force is going to be replaced by machines and the whole economical system is going to collapse when nobody has money to buy and use those new self-check kiosks. I have a new theory concerning the nature of things. Capitalism breeds Communism which in turn breeds Capitalism only to restart the cycle over once more. Each system will bring relief and benefits until it wears off. Capitalism is going to fail sometime late this century and maybe sooner with the way that we're going.

The left is rising. Automation is going to be what unites the workers. Capitalism will bring forth the return of Communism. Hopefully, by the time Capitalism comes back around we'd all be in a better place.

I've said similar before and am always greeted with people arguing that there will always be new jobs because there were always jobs before. Even putting aside that this is a terrible argument, there weren't always jobs. The idea that everyone is to have a job is only as old as the industrial revolution.

It really amazes me the lengths some people go to maintain a position, not the least a position that is so undesirable and benefits no one.

Promulgator.

But on fine limits of what this term actually entails to the automate, machine or factory item in reproduction, production, machine-refragmentorialicaicization, machine-replicate, machine-replication, machine-reple, machine-machine, machine-assemblancy machine, machine producer, or re-pair machinistic edifice, microcosmically scaled, or not. This being my most roticious sentence it's almost embarassingly 'Station but hey...

Differentiation that sort is not even vaguely socialistic in economic mode type owing required specializations in labour unextensively and therefore intensively dispersative on a powered burden of populationaicistically IMACTIVE distributional statistry.

Sadly, human self-interest is merely a nexal inversion and not a driver of intelligence for most ineffectual groups and we are mono-factually dysgaene, now.

This is why, as glossary, this term is unsocialist, I forget to detail.

Is that where everyone gets a Bentley and a designer handbag when they get off the plane? Doesn't sound sustainable.
