Yah I've heard of that stuff in Peru, shamans mix it up and they use it for 'religious' ceremonies, supposedly its like really awesome ecstasy. I hear you can use it legally in the states.

I think the main ingredient is DMT which isn't legal...but can be extracted from legally obtainable barks or grasses as you probably know.

Nope, but that is something else they use down in south America. I can't remember the name of the stuff they use in Peru, pretty sure its made of some type of leaves and other stuffs, but IIRC the magic is in the leaves.

I know, there's a chance I could be wrong here, but I think this is something else altogether, pretty obscure stuff (relatively speaking). DMT sends you off into lalalala laying on the ground tripping my balls off land, this other stuff is very euphoric more like Ecstasy. Jump could be talking about the DMT stuff, but I'm 99% positive there is something else they take too.

DMT is weird, wild stuff.
A similar molecule is produced by our pineal gland IIRC. And some have speculated it might be released in large amounts during near death experiences... and might even be partly responsible for our dreams.

I've read a lot about it over the years and its one of the more mysterious drugs around, its often pretty clear why and how a drug fucks you up, but DMT is a mystery.
