8 cups tomato (peeled if you don't have a food mill, boil for 30 seconds for easy peeling)

1 medium onion diced

2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp salt

5 tsp sugar

4 cups chicken broth (bouillon cubes work fine)

Simmer ingredients for 20 minutes, then run through food mill or blender. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in pan, add 4 tablespoons flour and form paste, add soup and cook until flour/butter roux (paste) blends in. Recipe can be halved etc.

Like a whole large pot half full, dunno maybe 4-6 good bowls. I've been doubling that recipe... haven't made a half batch in forever, it goes too quick. Half batch if its just you, full batch for 2-3 people, double batch for a 5-6 people. Sounds about right. I've tried quite a few recipes over the years, and this one is based off of another recipe I saw at some point, seriously awesome soup. Dunno how it would come out using canned tomatoes, I always use fresh, but I'm guessing it would be the same if the canned tomatoes were just canned in water, no salt etc.

Democrats of 10 years ago aren't the democrats of today even, let alone 30-40-50-60 years ago.

Still, democrats are part of the problem. They aren't the solution. Republicans are worse, but that's to me. I'm sure many people think democrats are worse (rational people, not party blinded republicans) it all depends on what issues you find most important.

I really have nothing but disgust for war now. I dont think any military action by the US recently has been good or moral. Even Afghanistan, where action was needed we were wrong in what we have done and how we have acted.

I can't support Obama. He bombed Libya. Thats disgusting. He is no different from bush in my eyes. I don't hate him, but I dont like what he is doing.
