Everyone's taste is different, so it's hard to say for sure, but I wouldn't go around recommending Exam. It's been a while since I last watched it, but I do remember not being too impressed with it as a whole. Was just a bit too meh for my taste, and the fact that the entire movie took place in one single room was a bit annoying as well for me. Again, everyone is different though, so perhaps you'll end up enjoying it.

Np, bud. While were at it, have you seen Paranormal Activity? It looks like such shit from the previews to me, but I keep hearing it's decent. I'm tempted to check it out, but I also don't want to waste an hour and a half of my time on a shitty, dull, cliched horror movie.

It's certainly unique and deep. Not especially scary, but then I did watch it a cinema with several friends. Overall I found it interesting enough to be worth the time I gave it. Don't know about the second one though.

Its horrible, unless you happen to favor horror-typish films without any actual horror. I barely watch scare films anymore, because so many of them suckass, but I did see that one.
I've also heard Insidious is good, but haven't seen it quite yet, you might check that out.

I suppose you could say it is somewhat cliched. I think it had some moments, however for a horror buff it is pretty guessable minus the timing of those 'jumpy' moments. I only saw it because a friend wanted to watch it, so it was not really on my list of films I was really caring to see. I would give it maybe a 6/10. I hear weed really helps the film-viewing experience.

Lol'd. Well then, I'm not too sure that I'll dig it, so I think I may just save it for a rainy day or somethin'. Thanks for the opinions, though. Also Ks, I actually watched Insidious the other night. I enjoyed it! I'd recommend that one for sure, it had some decently creepy moments. I've also pretty much given up on the horror genre, but this one was actually surprisingly decent compared to other scary movies that are being released. My faith in scary movies was somewhat restored. You should look into it.
