Topic: I don't understand the argument that more guns will solve the gun problem.

How? We have no (virtually none) guns here. I don't have to worry about being shot ever. If we implemented a second amendment here, I would have to worry about the possibility of being shot. Having more people with guns won't solve the problem. We tell people not to carry knives for the same reason. Some youths carry knives for their safety but it doesn't make them more safe. I just don't understand the gun love.

If you've never tasted freedom, you'll have a hard time understanding why people take these tragedies in stride and continue to support the second amendment.

@OP
Having to worry about getting shot would turn you into a better man. Thanks.

Most of the time I feel the urge to lash out at someone, I remember I live in a shall-issue state, suddenly I'm not so mad anymore.

Your error is that you are looking at the situation logically. There is little logic with gun control in the United States.
