Yes. In many countries, especially China, McDonalds is considered a fine dining experience. Much better than the local food.

Even selecting the restaurant is picky eater behavior. A non-picky eater just consumes literally the first available food he happens upon when he is hungry, wherever or whatever it happens to be.

Food safety is the only legitimate grounds for refusing to eat a certain type of food. It's not picky to refuse spoiled food, or food with broken glass in it, etc. But turning your nose up at something because it came from a can is picky.
