@1,172,895 (B) > Chimpanzees are known for the most violent warfare among non-human apes.
Actually, the gorillas were the most aggressive ones in that movie.

:( Disagree.
There are a few movie chimps that have masterminded violence, but for the most part it's been gorillas doing the actual aggression. Real-world chimps have never actually started wars or been in "warfare."

@1,172,948 (C) > yeah they do. what movie are you talking about. life isn't a movie grow up
Sure, I was referring to the Planet of the Apes series where gorillas acted as the muscle for the army.
Personally I've never seen chimps or gorillas attack anyone. I've seen footage of both chimps and gorillas attacking people and other animals. I don't know any of that qualifies the statement that Anon B made that "Chimpanzees are known for the most violent warfare among non-human apes."
I don't know what metric is being used for "most violent warfare." Or even what definition of "warfare" is being imagined. I'm a little skeptical about any of that.

I don't know if it makes chimps the most territorial, the most studied, or what. Baboon troops fight over territory as well, and gorillas have been known to do the same.
