Local news? Mostly just people I run into in public. The local paper died a slow death. My local paper sucked anyway. I'm glad it got bought out by hedge fund managers who crashed it into the fucking ground. I guess that was fitting death for a paper run by libertarians.

More or less this. I figure if it's important I will hear about it from someone at work. We do have the Houston Chronicle but it's now a Hearst paper and it's all just human interest fluff and repackaged AP wire service stories you could get literally anywhere else.
