Topic: My social life is making me insane

I'm in school these days and so suddenly there's a lot of new people. A lot of people in school are very egotistical and since I hide my ego, it's easy enough to become friends with people but it can feel like work, they do all the talking of course which is okay since I don't got much to say, it's just sometimes they demand your constant attention as a very long story or explanation ensues.

Just do autopilot conversations, tbh. I do that with almost everyone.

By which I mean, only give simple answers while expressing just enough interest to keep them happy.

Nha I think it would be too obvious. Sometimes I'm just all out of fucks tbh. A kewl friend once just started reciting his own poem which was like two minutes long and all I could think of was a thumbs up and a kewl poem bro.

In my experience, most people don't notice. Just vary up your replies enough to make it seem like you care. However, I know that may be easier said than done for some. I'm just sharing what worked for me. Godspeed, OP.

Just reflexively oppose the Current Thing whenever anyone tries to talk to you.

You'll soon have no friends 😎👌
