Don't charge a laptop to 100% capacity, that's a good way to lower the capacity of the battery after a while. Basically you're almost overcharging it, over and over again. That increases the wear on the battery. I'd suggest looking in the settings.

Also, most devices nowadays manage their own power and charging, so you should charge them them until they say they are full.
