@previous (C)
but there aren't enough cats to be that problematic. do u go to the woods, see a shitload of cats just wandering around fucking up the ecosystem? no. they stay around people and eat varmints. do you know any endangered native varmints whose populations are plummeting due to invasive cats? no. shut the fuck up
In some parts of New Zealand cats are eating the wildlife to a unsustainable level. New Zealand animals evolved in an absence of mammals and some lack the behaviours which exist elsewhere. Lots of species have already gone extinct.
A few areas want cats to be banned, such as Kaikoura and Wellington.

@1,170,324 (C) > Cats are an invasive species almost everywhere they are.
Cats are most problematically an invasive species on the internet. They populated the internet almost instantly. Cats have already tricked Russians, and later USAmericans, into sending them to space. They're estimated to be on Mars by 2035.
