haha that's what I have been putting up with watching youtube reviewers about Star Trek. Thing is, I agree with many criticisms but there's a way to do it without talking like you've grown up on Murdoch media or are nazi-adjacent.

@previous (boof)
right?? the new series are so easy to critique without looking like a twat who apparently didn't pay attention when they were watching tng/ds9 or whatever. tbh I want a commie hugbox in space, not a fucked up show where they graphically blow up the first new character they show you in the first episode. shit's weird

here's a listenable critique of Strange New Worlds. They were more annoyed at it than I was, but that's fine as I find bitching can be entertaining and they point out things I never gave much thought. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sttylm0ftaQ

here is the newest Strange New Worlds episode reviewed, this time by a fellow confined to a bed due to medical misadventure a few years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR8Ik54zeY8
