If a culture accepts a bad idea, is it still a bad idea? China has totalitarianism, the population has accepted it, so is it bad still? Same with male guardianship laws. As a guy who thinks that feminism is a good idea, I don't like guardianship laws, but maybe there are some advantages to it?

I think that it depends on whether or not it causes harm. It doesn't matter how many people liked slavery, it was still an evil system. But for something harmless, like certain ethnic or national or religious practices, I'd say those are culturally subjective.
