I am on a mission to help a friend get someone they care about out of a country that is kind of toxic. The current plan is to get her on a school visa in the U.S., but even for community colleges they want to them to show that they have money in their bank account. Note: Show not Spend. There is no way they could apply for something in their home country without their family knowing about it. Does anyone know of any organizations or charities that would sponsor someone so they could show the school admissions that they have the money needed to attend?
This is kind of retarded. They only want them to show them the money which does not mean spending it. This is to show that they can cover all costs. Books, living expenses, etc. It's fucking stupid because the only time you ever have to buy a textbook for a community college course is when the course requires a code. Most students either just rent the book or do their work at the campus library. The person also already has a place to stay when they arrive here.
It seems like the only two things standing in their way of finally escaping their country are finances and a proficiency test (or course) in English. The latter of which isn't really a problem. I've also thought about resulting to sucking dick in order to get them out there, but I know they wouldn't want me to degrade myself for them.

Can’t they just fake a screenshot of their bank account? Just edit the html to change the values. How is the school going to know?

Indians had a scheme where they effectively shared around some money to prove they had enough money for living expenses as a student in New Zealand. Money went from one account to the next etc.
When the immigration department found out they cancelled their visas and made a start to deport them. I can't remember how it turned out but it's a bit risky to try different methods to trick immigration.

Can't they go to a cheaper country like the Philippines? You can basically stay in the Philippines forever and also you can apply for a work permit etc. After a while get citizenship. It's not the safest country in the world but it's not awful.

I can't help to think that OP is infatuated with a women and wants to help her an excessive amount. It may well turn out that the country is something like France or wherever. I'm guessing that OP is from the US as well. What a coincidence!
