Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are to receive fixed-penalty notices for attending a birthday gathering for the prime minister in the heart of No 10 during lockdown, leading to calls for them both to resign for breaking the law.
In an unprecedented development, the prime minister and his chancellor were told by police they would get sanctions for breaching their own emergency laws, brought in to protect the country during the pandemic.
They are thought to be the first prime minister and chancellor who police believe have broken the law while in office. Both were also accused of misleading parliament by denying that they had attended parties during lockdown.

The article mentions that no-confidence motion that happened a while ago but didn't go anywhere. I wonder if this will make them try again?
Or maybe he'll just get away with it and keep his job, at least until the next election.

Sorry, mate. I know that you're used to leadership like Trump ordering his minions to storm the Capitol. So I guess this isn't exciting enough for you.
