One element of basic framing and set design is to not put a prop in front of your face, especially not a light. Also, keeping auto-focus on is a classic beginner mistake that no one should make.

We have mass transit in my city but it kind of sucks unless you’re within 5 minutes of the city center. I work downtown and would have to drive 5 miles to the nearest trolley station and then wait 30-45 minutes to get off on my stop because there’s so many damn stops
Or….. I could drive 10 miles in 15 minutes and walk 2 blocks to work from my parking garage
