I'm not asking for any place specifically. Just in general, was it a bar, a cafe, a restaurant you stopped at after work? Some place you and friends would frequent? A place you took dates? I'm just curious what kind of places feel "regular" to you.
For me it was mostly shitty bars and upscale coffee shops. Also once, embarrassingly enough, a Taco Bell that I would stop by after the bars closed.
Idk how my friends and I boinking your mom funded you going through college, but I'm not surprised she would spend two minutes everyday talking about us. Honestly, I'd be more surprised if she never brought us up. 😎😎😎

No, she told stories around the dinner table about a weird smelly guy who would wander into the garden and spooge before he got his trousers down and throw a bunch of money on the ground and run away embarrassed. We would laugh about it for hours sometimes. No one reported you because we all felt sorry for the village idiot. It didn't stop us from taking the money though. The whole neighborhood knew you didn't have any friends. I'm sorry to say, you might been hallucinating them.

Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same. You wanna be where everybody knows your name.

Ancient Sun God Shamash!
From Hatrasite.com. (It's all in Italian) Hatra was a fortress along a trade route from the near east to Africa and Europe. They traded in food, water, spices, glassworks, metals, gods, weapons, animals, protection from desert nomads, religious ideologies, and all the usual stuff.
Here's a fun Twitter thread about the article the picture comes from. Just in case you were wanting to read about near eastern sun cults today.

I finally got around to reading this. Interesting stuff! I love how we can track ancient religious ideas like this, it's always super interesting to me.

Oh but in answer to the topic, yes. When I was living somewhere else for a year I had a local McDonald's where the clerks eventually started to recognise me and predict my order. But I did order the same thing every time.
