Weeeak, I'm currently using my Inspiron 15 7000. I'd say it's been great for the past couple years or so, only thing that sucks is how fast this 1050 Ti became outdated. Still works great though, and even outperforms my Mini-ITX (got a weak ass CPU in there).

When you start using a computer after a while it's advisable to run Windows Update at least once and update the browser before using it online. You can do this by turning off the wifi, loading the browser, turning on the wifi then updating it (Help/about seems to be the standard way to update).
If you don't do these then your computer may now be infected. Don't forget to update Adobe Acrobat if it's there, plus other applications.

I actually had a brilliant idea the other day, I know people have already had success with a couple AMD cards being used in the Steam Deck via PCI to NVME adapter. Now, my laptop has an NVME slot as well as a normal SATA slot. I can get a NVME to SATA 2.5" adapter, get the PCI to NVME adapter, attach better graphics card, should be good.

Yup! If I did end up doing this, I'd most likely stick it in a case for convenience. With that said, it wouldn't really be a big deal other than 2 power cords, but then again you can always get one of them extension cables with one plug and 2-3 outlets on the opposite end, and if it's all going in a case anyway... but in reality, I prefer a real PC anyway, so all that would just be for fun. I'm still not sure what I should do with this thing. Would it even be practical to put on Win1x? I actually still have one of my old builds from the Me/XP days I've gotta bust out, hasn't been turned on in at least a decade though. Well, hell, that D830 hadn't been on for ~5-6 years, old Sprite pics dated from 2014 rofl.
The processor in the 5555 is only 2.2GHZ anyway. Plugging a graphics card into it would help with the limited video RAM, but I don't think I'd be able to fully utilize it. I'll just stick to the desktop.
