As a dictionary site, The Free Dictionary must provide accurate definitions. We define the Russian invasion of Ukraine as barbaric and unjust, and we must do what we can to put a stop to the loss of life, human suffering, and assault on freedom.

Many Western companies have boycotted or ceased doing business in Russia, some at great personal cost. However, according to a Yale School of Management list, some companies still support the Russian regime and are putting profits ahead of freedom and human lives.
