You know, come to think of it, you're not wrong. Genetically, Cornish people actually are closer to the native inhabitants of Britain, before the waves of foreign invasions from the Romans onwards which created the modern English ethnicity. The Cornish, historically, maintained a degree of separation from that process.
Svet, therefore, is properly classified as less British than me. 😎
(I don't think that any of this matters, fixating on ethnicity is dumb, but it's an amusing thought).
