Somebody said something to me once, that really drove home how retarded the anti-mask sentiment is.
If you're having open-chest surgery, would you want your surgeon to wear a mask, or would you prefer it if his mouth was bare and he was breathing into your chest cavity?
It's just common sense. Of course masks are going to cause reduced transmission, if we're in the midst of a pandemic with a virus that spreads via people coughing or exhaling. And believe me, buddy, UK cases are still nice and high.
