It's weird, but there's actually been a reversal in popular opinion. It's now on-trend to be very anti-vaccine, and to doubt that Covid even exists at all. So just do that, and your friend will respect you.

A friend's father died in hospice care . He was Covid positive but was negative at the time he died. He was a black man,80 years old with Diabetes, hypertension and crippling arthritis but died over a month after recovering from covid-19.
A woman I had known for nearly 40 years DID die of covid but she was extremely morbidly obese ,was hypertensive and had was a type two diabetic. A sad case really because she died alone and wasn't allowed and visitors (she had 10 siblings). Even her wake and funeral had limited visitation. I know that her case doesn't support OUR view, but the fact is that this woman was close to 400 lbs and I can't imagine that she was going to reach Old Age with or without getting Covid.
The fact is that hospitals received federal and sometimes state money for each covid patient and when they give an incentive to find a problem, you can bet they'll find THAT problem. (think of global warming:)).
It makes me wonder if I had been run over by a truck on the way to the hospital last January, would I have been listed as a Covid Death?
