So basically, the UK declares war on Ukraine. Immediately, the Ukrainian government unconditionally surrenders and the UK annexes Ukraine. The UK government install a transitional government in Ukraine with all the same people as the old Ukrainian government.

Then the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Ukraine issue an ultimatum to Russia that any attacks on British territory would trigger article 5.

Thus, war in Europe is averted.

We've only got 225 nukes whereas Russia has nearly 6000 so we don't stand a chance.

Also we wouldn't be able to declare war in Ukraine without declaring war on Russia because their troops won't leave so it would bring about WW3. There are a lot of flaws with this plan.

Russia will leave, because Ukraine will become British territory and therefore NATO. It's a high stakes gambit, the best kind.
