A Ukraine had a GDP 17x lower than USAmerica on a per-person basis, before the war devastated the economy. Quite a poor people.

Yet the people appear predominantly prime Aryan stock, even less slavic looking that Russia proper. Clearly the Wehrmacht seeded the area well.

Is the soul not fertile? Are their ports not deep? Why has the nation not prospered as the west has?

Why are some countries poorer than others? If I could point a finger at only one thing, it would be corruption. Currently, Ukraine is 117th least corrupt country.

Look at this list. All the countries at the top of the list are rich. The first non-rich country comes in at position 24 is Bhutan.
