Dana Perino made a perfect analogy to W.H. press secretary Jen Saki in regard to U.S. oil leases.
Suppose you leased a car and after paying for the lease and filling out all of the forms etc, they brought the car to you BUT wouldn't give you the Keys.
So you have the car right in front of you that you paid for but you can't drive or even unlock the doors.
That's the state of the federal oil lease in the biden administration. The lease's are in the hands of the oil companies , but the permits needed to drill, frack or even build the access roads required are withheld.
So instead of U.S. energy independence, biden chooses to beg Venezuela,Saudi Arabia and even Iran to sell us more oil. Oil that will cost over $100 per barrel and be pump into tankers (that run on oil) to cross oceans, obviously putting tons of the evironazis dreaded "greenhouse gases" into the air while trying to push electric cars even though there are only a tiny fraction of the charging stations that would be required and no Current technology exists to produce the electricity that would be required to charge these vehicles.
I'd also like to know if farmers are looking forward to electric tractors? Harvesters etc.? And what kind of battery will power the 18 wheelers that will carry the produce to the consumer?
Lets see some COMMITMENT from biden. Lets see him fly on a new ALL ELECTRIC Air Force One. And Take Laughing Girl Harris with him.

Or, it could be permits to drill on land where there isn't any oil to be found. No matter what the case, we all know damn well the oil companies will drill and start pumping oil and natural gas wherever there is money to be made. So, contrary to what Pee-Saki is saying, we know she's a lying sack of shit since businesses are in business to make money. If there's oil or natural gas they can get at, then they'll be there doing whatever they can to get at it.
Also, Biden is a johnny come lately. He's trying to take credit for something he had no control over. By the time he banned Russian oil from the USA, the American oil companies had already stopped purchasing it.
