I like the verdigris better. It also needs no maintenance whereas a new copper finish would need some kind of lacquer or clearcoat (which would need to be redone every couple years) to keep it from oxidizing.

Actually now that I think about it verdigris cars would be pretty awesome. Instead of painting it just electroplate the body panels with copper then spray it with vinegar to patina it. Then you never have to wax it or worry about the clearcoat fading and peeling. Leave it out in the Arizona sun for fifty years and it will look the same as it did when it rolled off the assembly line 🤔
