Pretty much everything by Amazon and netflix sucks. it's gotten so bad that these days I don't even bother watching if I see a show is produced by one of these networks. I don't think I've seen a single good show produced by Amazon. And the last good show on netflix was House of Cards which they had to ruin the last season of by making Clair become a hard-core feminist for no apparent reason. Completely out of character. Sociopaths don't have political ideologies. That was the entire point of the show.

anyway, HBO has been the only game in town for the past decade.

Mostly a drama. Marriage problems and general drama of an upper middle class neighborhood in California. Character development is good and realistic. Great dialog. Lots of big name actresses.
