It's been years since I lived all by my lonesome. I'm still in the same building so it's not like I'm going far but it's all mine! I control the whole space! I am so incredibly excited, this is amazing!
The funny thing is that just the other day, my boyfriend found out that he can take over another apartment in the same building, one with the perfect size and layout that we could live together comfortably and had actually talked about trying to get. Oh well, it's more rent but I'm still excited to not have roommates at all. The best part is that the current tenants of the apartment my boyfriend will take are moving into the same building (across town) that I moved out of to live with boyfriend.
It's pretty much the highest rent that I can afford - and it's tighter now that boyfriend is moving into a bigger place, too. He was going to pay me $100/month to save an area for him to use as storage. But I don't have to pay for electricity and internet in exchange for the last tenant (a good friend) to use the place for a few days every few months for business.
I am so fucking stoked guys.

Apparently my neighbour across the hall is pissed off at me and bitching about me to everyone. The reason? She wants me to tell her whenever I'm at my boyfriend's house. Because our dogs don't get along, her dog always runs up to mine, and she doesn't want to put her dog on a leash. When she made this request, I gave her a weird look and told her she should always have her dog on a leash (unsaid: because her dog doesn't fucking listen to her). I'm not a dick, I always have my dog on a leash and will always check the hallway before letting her out.
