Topic: Consider this- Biden announcing earlier he was only considering female blacks for Vice President

Can you even imagine how hard the Democrats and the MSM would have came...if Trump would have pulled something like that?
They would have all screamed and cackled about it 24 hours a day from that moment until the day of the election...when they wernt pushing the the wild conspiracy theory about him controlling the USPS to manipulate the Vote.
The whole President and Vice President thing is so sacred towards the way our government has always been run.
Isnt it fucked to say only 5% of U.S. citizens are in contention to be picked to be America's second highest office?
I guess the answer is no if your a liberal Democrat and it's the only gimmick you can think of after 4/5 of the country realizes your party's Presidential candidate is a complete dud.

Thinking about this, let's say Trump pulled a Biden and said he wanted a black female VP going into the 2020 election (assume Pence is okay with this and happy to step aside without a fight). Could he actually do this? What would he have to do?
Is there any precedent for changing vice presidents outside scandal or death?

It would have been a hysterically funny scenario if Trump were to have chosen a black after Biden did and Trump's black would have delivered the black vote.

Seriously though...any one who would trade one Pence for 10 Kamalas is an idiot.

FDR had multiple VPs, and it was I think not super uncommon in the 1800s. There are rules and bylaws I'm sure within the Republican party that he'd have to abide by in order to change the ticket, but there is nothing in principle stopping him from doing that. He of course will not do that.

How would a black VP deliver the black vote? Do you think that black people vote entirely based on the race of the candidates running? If so I think you would have a really hard time explaining why Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders won roughly a gazillion more votes from black people than Harris, Booker, etc. The fact that you would even think that betrays a fundamental lack of understanding of American politics.

No really, what's your explanation? If winning the black vote is as easy as having a black person on your ticket, why didn't the two most prominent black candidates for the Dem nomination get the most black votes? In 2012, why didn't Herman Cain run away with half of the black votes in the country (the other half going to Obama)? I'm very confused by your understanding of the world.

You really don't understand why many black Americans are descended from slave owners? Hint: slave owners tended to rape their slaves.

Yeah this is one "criticism" I don't get. You can't be black and directly descended from slave owners unless one of your parents was a slave. In what possible universe could that reflect poorly on her?

Why does Bert have image posting capabilities? It doesn't seem like he's ever used it for good.

I get that you're a malleable, spineless little whelp and these images convinced you, but unfortunately for you, this is the Thinker's Fora™, and it'll take more than a JPG with some text to convince most people.

I don't hate these facts, moron. I hate Kamala Harris as much as you, if not more. Which is impressive, because she's black, a woman, AND more powerful than you, and that must trigger you something bad.
