My cat four times (one-year vaccine boosters, that time he got very very injured, the time he had two hernias, that time when all of them had ear mites), my dog twice (once to get spayed, that time they all had ear mites). I was out of town when they all had ear mites though so it wasn't me bringing them.

A couple of times per year maybe, usually just for routine checkups or followup on tests. When we had 3 dogs it was a lot for my mom to handle on her own and my dad works like 12 hour days so it was easiest to schedule it when I was home.

Yeah, makes sense. I've never taken my pets for regular checkups, but I don't get regular checkups either.
