Sure mate. Basically, Pakistan had too many men on the boundary which meant Wokesy was able to nurdle every tame off-cutter towards deep backward square leg for an easy single. When they finally tried some pace, the wicket was already dead which meant the soft in-swingers kept getting clattered past silly mid on for four. Hence, it was fair do's England in the end.

Alright, I'll try it from England's perspective, that might make it clearer. Basically, if you're looking to make close to 300 on a day 4 wicket, the last thing you want to be facing is leg spinners and googlies. If they hit the rough they can turn all the way to 3rd slip. No, what you want is some nice gentle yorkers and bouncers to dispatch though cover or long on. And that's exactly what Pakistan gifted to them, hence, hard lines.
