Even if he was, the cops had no way of knowing that at the time. Did you watch the video? They knocked on the door, shouted "Phoenix police", stepped aside so they couldn't be seen from the peephole. Inhabitant opens the door and steps out looking like he has a gun in his hand. One cop shouts "whoah hands hands hands" and while inhabitant complies with that demand, putting one hand in the air and lowering the gun to the ground with the other hand, another cop shoots him three times in the back. Whole thing takes just a few seconds. So they didn't interact with or even look at him long enough to know he was high on drugs, so that can't be used as a justification for his murder.
And more importantly, summary execution is not the punishment for drug use. So it doesn't fucking matter if he was on every drug known to man, he wasn't doing anything wrong, the cops had no reason to fear for their lives and they murdered him. In response to w noise complaint.

Did you know that the news did not show the entire George Floyd video? He was, in fact, resisting arrest. He deserved everything he got.
